Our Story

Hannah Rawls and Rawls Street Financial Advising
As a young college graduate, a family friend sat down with me and showed me the ropes of financial planning. This was a pivotal moment for me. My friend taking the time to sit down with me, teach me, and inspire me toward financial stability and independence was the catalyst that set me on the road I am on now.
Early in my career I worked as an Account Executive in the logistics industry for five and a half years. I loved the entrepreneurial spirit of the work in building a book of business, the ability to build relationships with my clients, the feeling of satisfaction when solving a problem, and the responsibility I felt as the advocate for my clients' freight. I learned many valuable lessons during this period that serve me well today.
However, my natural interest and passion in finances and investing continued to grow. In fact, my favorite part of getting paid was working on my budget (#NerdAlert). In 2017, I started thinking that if I could make a reasonable living and help untangle the complexities of finance for people, that would be the dream. I decided to make the leap in 2018 and began studying for my FINRA Securities Series 7, NASAA Series 66 and Life/Annuity license that I hold today. I now partner with clients to create a tailored roadmap for retirement planning, retirement income solutions, 401k and IRA rollovers, education saving, and wealth building.
I founded Rawls Street Financial Advising as an independent financial firm because I want the freedom to make the decisions that are truly in the best interests of my clients and to not be bound by proprietary products and sales quotas. Being an Independent Financial Advisor empowers me to work for our clients first and foremost. However, my affiliation with my broker dealer Securities America gives me access to a wide range of solutions and resources. Being independent, and therefore an entrepreneur, also gives me the unique ability to relate to our clients who are small business owners.
As the daughter of a retired Air Force pilot, I have lived in a variety of places, including San Antonio and New York City, but I consider Cincinnati, OH to be my home base. When I am not working with my clients, I can be found serving in my church community, playing board games with friends, and hiking. My most notable hike is my journey on the Pacific Crest Trail, in which I completed the entire trail, a 2,653-mile endeavor from southern California at the Mexican border to the Canadian/Washington state border.

My Why
64% of Americans are on course to retire with insufficient savings. I believe financial illiteracy and retirement unpreparedness is an epidemic in the United States and a major problem to be addressed. I am driven to right this wrong through education and wise financial planning to help individuals and families retire with dignity and achieve their financial goals.
My goal in life is to leave nothing on the table, to live the full life God has for me, and to help my clients do the same. I am always working to earn my place and I will always work my hardest to serve my clients. I am driven to leave my clients wholly satisfied with my services. I have had several pillars of guidance in my life. Let me be yours.
